County residents who have an emergency should dial 9-1-1 to report their emergency. A 9-1-1 operator will answer your request for service promptly and courteously.

Mission Statement

To help ensure a timely response to all emergency incidents within Pierce County through providing notification and/or assistance to public safety resources that are involved in the delivery of emergency services within Pierce County.

What We Do

Provide notification and/or dispatch services in accordance with written communication guidelines for designated public safety agencies that provide emergency response to 911 calls from callers within Pierce County.

About Pierce County

Pierce County, established in 1857 and named for President Franklin Pierce, grew out of Appling and Ware counties' lands.
The county seat, Blackshear, bears the name of General David Blackshear who fought Indians in Georgia and Florida during the War of 1812.
