Agenda Request

The Pierce County Board of Commissioners holds its Regular Monthly Meetings on the
First Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM at:
705 College Avenue, 2nd Floor, Blackshear, GA 31516

The general public is welcome at all Commission meetings.

However, if you wish to speak at a meeting you are required to complete a request and submit it to the County Clerk. The request must be submitted by noon on the Wednesday prior to the meeting date.

We have just become aware of a security issue with the online agenda request function. If you wish to submit or have already submitted, please print and complete the provided form, and email it to countyclerk@piercecountyga.gov. or deliver it to the Pierce County Board of Commissioners at 312 Nichols Street in Blackshear. As soon as this issue is corrected we will return to the usual online submission, we’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause at this time.

About Pierce County

Pierce County, established in 1857 and named for President Franklin Pierce, grew out of Appling and Ware counties' lands.
The county seat, Blackshear, bears the name of General David Blackshear who fought Indians in Georgia and Florida during the War of 1812.
