The Pierce County Board of Commissioners holds their Regular Monthly Meetings on the
First Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM at:
705 College Avenue, 2nd Floor, Blackshear, GA 31516

The general public is welcome at all Commission meetings.

However if you wish to speak at a meeting you are required to complete a request and submit it to the County Clerk.

About Pierce County

Pierce County, established in 1857 and named for President Franklin Pierce, grew out of Appling and Ware counties' lands.
The county seat, Blackshear, bears the name of General David Blackshear who fought Indians in Georgia and Florida during the War of 1812.
