RFP ENGINEERING SERVICES Pierce Co. requests qualifications/proposals for selecting an Engineering Firm to provide pre & post-award services for various community & economic development projects. Services needed will include but are not limited to, preparing preliminary engineering reports, planning, design, cost estimating, bidding, contracting, construction oversight, and project closeout. The County is in need of Public Infrastructure Improvements, including but not limited to, water, sewer, street paving, and/or drainage, and is considering applying for federal and/or state funding for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Annual Competition, Mitigation, Employee Incentive Program, Redevelopment Fund, and/or Immediate Threat and Danger funds through the GA Department of Community Affairs. Purchasing a HYDRAULIC EXCAVATOR to be used for roadway maintenance/construction and soil mining and handling
Pierce County Georgia Board of Commissioners is interested in purchasing a HYDRAULIC EXCAVATOR to be used for roadway maintenance/construction and soil mining and handling. To be considered for purchase, all brands and models must meet or exceed the following minimum specifications. Accessories not mentioned specifically herein but necessary to furnish a complete unit ready for use shall be included. If an exception to these specifications is taken, the bidder must list each exception on a separate sheet marked as “BID EXCEPTIONS” and give a description of each exception. Bids shall be sealed in an envelope with the word “Excavator Bid” prominently displayed on the front of the envelope. Bids must be received NO LATER THAN January 4, 2023, 4:00 pm. Bids received after that will not be accepted or considered. The success of the winning bidder will be determined by the bid amount, completeness of the unit offered and the delivery date. The Pierce County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject all bids.

Request for Proposals Professional Auditing Services

Pierce County Government is requesting proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants to audit its financial statements for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2022, with the option of auditing its financial statements for each of the two subsequent fiscal years. These audits shall be conducted in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States of America, promulgated by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and in accordance with the standards applicable to financial audits contained in Government Auditing Standards issued by the Comptroller General of the United States, the provisions of the Federal Single Audit Act and its amendments, the U. S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-133, Audits of States, Local Governments and Non-Profit Organizations, and the Official Code of Georgia Annotated.

Residential Solid Waste Collection & Disposal Services for Pierce County GA
The Pierce County Board of Commissioners is seeking Proposals from interested and qualified solid waste collection and disposal contractors. This will be a minimum three (3) year contract with the option to renew.

PURPOSE
