REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR RIGHT OF WAY (ROW) MOWING
The Pierce County Board of Commissioners is now accepting sealed proposals for RIGHT OF WAY (ROW) MOWING on all County maintained rights of way. Pierce County has no intention of purposely eliminating any company from bidding; however, there are certain specifications that must be met or exceeded. Taxes should not be reflected as Pierce County is tax exempt.
Any and all questions, clarifications, or requests shall be made to Lana Blankenship, Finance Department at (912) 449-2022 or [email protected]. All questions, clarifications, and requests, together with answers, if any, will be provided to all firms that have indicated an interest or intention to submit statements. However, the names of any firms submitting any questions, clarifications, or requests will not be disclosed until after the deadline for submitting Proposals. The County reserves the right to respond or not respond to any questions, clarifications, or requests.
The data herein is provided without warranty or representation as to accuracy. Each Proposer is directed and encouraged to make any all examinations independently; to verify any and all examinations independently, and not to rely solely on the information stated herein, which is to be used only as a general guide.
Sealed proposals will be accepted until 10:00 AM Monday, March 17, 2025, and will be opened at that time. No proposals will be accepted through email or after the appointed time of opening. No other distribution of proposals will be made by the Proposer. All Proposal copies must be signed in ink and in longhand by an official authorized to bind the Proposer. The Pierce County Board of Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, with or without cause. All bids will be presented to the Pierce County Board of Commissioners at the Regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, April 1. 2025 at 6:00 PM.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES
Pierce County is requesting qualifications and proposals for selection of an Engineering Firm to provide a full range of engineering services associated with the rehabilitation of the Tiger Field Recreation Park. The rehabilitation improvements include constructing a new sidewalk from the parking area to the bleachers, as well as installing a concrete pad around the bleacher areas. Other improvements include replacing the lights around the field with LED lighting.
Selection of an Engineer for the project will be required to develop concept, schematic design, design development documents, permit drawings, and 100% construction documents as well as provide construction oversight in accordance with the scope of work identified herein. All contracts are subject to Federal and/or State contract provisions prescribed by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources.
As a basic service, all engineering contracts will also include obtaining and maintaining all Build America Buy America (BABA) documentation (particularly manufacturer’s certifications) during construction, which shall be transferred to the grant recipient. The engineer will need to certify to this action at the end of the project.

Proposals mailed to or received at any location other than the above address, or without the required forms, will not be accepted. Proposals must be received at the above address no later than 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. No proposals will be accepted after this time and date.
