Pierce County is seeking
a qualified CDL Class A or B Operator.
This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Dump Truck. The CDL Driver/Operator will be responsible for the safe transport of dirt and material to and from the worksite. The CDL Operator must be able to load self with a wheel loader. CDL Class A Operators may be tasked with transporting equipment to and from the worksite. CDL Operator must have a minimum of 6 months to 1 year’s experience and be a self-starter.
Pierce County offers competitive pay, a benefits package after a 90-day probationary period, and a 4-day work week. Individuals will be tasked with an on-call status every 4th to 5th week.
Candidates are required to pass a criminal background check and drug screen. Applications will be accepted until positions have been filled.

SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE
The Pierce County Board of Commissioners, Blackshear, Georgia, is seeking applications for the position of County Manager. This is a full-time, exempt position with full benefits: health insurance, vacation, sick and FMLA leave, and retirement plan. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Public or Business Administration, or a closely related field, 2-4 years of experience, or the equivalent of education and similar experience that provides the skills needed to perform the essential duties of the position.
